Toyota Sponsors Free Solar WiFi
Toyota has planted five 18-foot tall “solar flowers” in Boston’s Prudential Plaza and provided free Wi-Fi and electricity, reports Engadget. The solar panels attached to the petals and stem “partially power” the device. The generated electricity travels down the stem to plastic green benches with 110-volt outlets.
