France Telecom’s Third-Quarter Earnings Down 8%

France Telecom said Thursday its third-quarter earnings before interest and taxes fell 8% to 4.56 billion euros ($6.8 billion), while its revenue dropped 6.4% to 12.69 billion euros from the same period a year ago. Analysts expected, on average, Ebitda of 4.58 billion euros and revenue of 12.81 billion euros, according to Capital IQ.
