Maxis to Borrow 5 Billion Ringgit to Repay Parent

Maxis Bhd., the mobile-phone company conducting Malaysia’s biggest initial public offering, plans to borrow 5 billion ringgit ($1.5 billion) to repay loans to its parent and fund expansion of broadband networks.
