The growth of 3G handsets will increase potential access to mobile VoIP solutions, with 3G technology allowing simultaneous use of speech and data services and higher data rates. The strongest handset shipment growth was seen in the Middle East and Africa, followed by the Americas, particularly in the USA. Europe, however, saw only single-digit growth.
